The Leadership Reset
A recalibration experience for senior leaders.
A senior leader at a global financial services organization had just been promoted to oversee a new function, building a product strategy the company had not pursued before. With a reputation as a high performer in a narrow, independent function, she was promoted with confidence. The new role required collaboration she had not led before. The pressure of the mandate exposed a disruptive leadership style, voluntary exits were rising, and feedback from her manager had been offered more than once without landing. The risk to productivity, morale, and culture was real and rising.

The idealis. Approach
idealis. partnered with the executive team and HR to design a Leadership Reset, a three-month engagement built to create a forced inflection point with a leader who could not be lost to the organization, and could not continue as she was.
The work began with a four-hour Your Story session and the proprietary Human Core 7™ Assessment, which surfaced what mattered most to her and where the gaps sat between what she said she valued and how she was actually showing up.
A robust 360 Assessment, with twelve quantitative surveys and seven live interviews, captured how peers, team members, and senior executives experienced her leadership day to day, using stories, examples, and direct quotes.
The Transformation
With deep qualitative insight and rigorous stakeholder data, idealis. coached the leader through a Real Conversation that named the patterns of her behavior in words no one had been able to convey to her quite so directly. Two action-planning sessions translated insight into specific behavior change, with markers of progress at 30, 60, and 90 days.
A facilitated executive readout brought her manager and HR partner into the same room, around the same picture, for the first time. A three-way Reset session followed: the leader, her manager, an HR partner, and the idealis. coach sat together, heard the same messages at the same time, and put commitments to paper.
